Around The Sims – One of the best Sims 1 CC sites out there.
Andrasta’s World – Beautiful objects including plants, build mode, historical, fantasy, and some dark stuff.
All Skins – Lovely clothing and skins for males and females, all ages (in English and/or Russian).
Age of Aquarius – Not much here, but worth a look for the flower decor.
This site is preserved just as it was in 2003.
Abercrombie and Sim – Some nostalgic early 2000’s fashion.
Aaron’s Sims Page – Some cool hacked objects including a bush toilet, plus some build items and a few skins.
Just scroll down past the error and use the site as normal. I often get a PHP error when I load the site, but it still works fine for me and I’m able to download everything.

These sites are online and have items available for download as of August 2021. I probably will not check again until next year, so it’s possible some may not work depending on when you’re visiting. And by active, I mean sites that are still online and have items available for download. I decided to make this list of active Sims 1 sites as a resource for those of us who still love the old games. The black box disappeared and the game was running perfectly fine. Then one time I decided to press CTRL + ALT + DEL to open the task manager. Unwilling to give up, I accidentally figured out a solution.Įvery time I would exit the game to make the black box go away, I would right click my sidebar and open the task manager to force it to close. I searched everywhere for a solution, but since the game is so old, not many people play, so no one has talked about the issue. The funny part is that the game is actually running behind that box. Not only does it not go away while the game is running,īut it covers absolutely anything you try to do while the game is running. Have you tried playing Sims Complete Collection in windowed mode on Windows 8.1? If so, you’ve probably had this issue that forced you back to playing full screen.
